Enjoy a leisurely morning departure and begin the drive north toward Switzerland.

Stroll the lakefront promenade, enjoy a coffee or Aperol by the water, and take in the views of Lake Lugano.
- 11:30 AMDepart Lugano
Continue through Bellinzona and toward the Alps.
- 12:45 PMArrive Airolo
Begin the climb toward the historic Gotthard Pass.
- 1:00 PMGotthard Pass Summit
Drive the historic pass road rather than the tunnel and stop at the summit for photos and panoramic alpine views.
- 1:15 PMDepart Gotthard Pass
Descend into Andermatt.
- 1:30 PM – 2:30 PMLunch in Andermatt
Enjoy a relaxed lunch in the heart of the Swiss Alps before continuing deeper into the mountains.

Begin the ascent of Furka Pass.

One of Switzerland's most spectacular mountain roads, with dramatic switchbacks, sweeping views, and glacier scenery.

Explore the famous electric-blue glacier tunnel and enjoy views of the Rhône Glacier.

Continue toward Grindelwald.
